How And Where To Get Inexpensive Yet Effective Web Marketing

By Don Bethune

With all of the places to visit on the internet, how are visitors going to find your site? If you're putting all of your advertising budget into new designers and expensive ad placements, it's not going to work. With careful thought, you can get very effective advertising and increased traffic.

If you want to market on the web for the least cost possible, try a popular blog or video sharing site. Most of the time these sites are free for users to post on, but they're high traffic and extremely effective.

You can use audio, video, graphics, text, and colors to creatively show your message when you post on a video site. You can get the same effect as expensive video production advertising for minimal cost. There are lots of other people posting on these sites, so unless you make your video creative and engaging it may get lost.

Blogging websites are another great way to get cheap website traffic. However they are never really as detailed and unique as broadcasting a video or actually paying for an advertisement. They will get your message out and enable those using search-bars for something related to your website to be directed to the blog - meaning they will visit your site. They also have the same downside as video sites; they might not get noticed as fast.

If you try one of the above methods, you'll definitely get more traffic. Beware of posting adult related content on these types of sites. If you have an adult site and post advertising on video or blogging sites you may be punished or banned.

If neither of these are what you are looking for, there are other methods as well. For example, pop-up ads. An utter annoyance for most internet users until one pops up that actually makes them raise an eyebrow. This is what a great advertisement will do through a pop-up ad. If the individual likes the ad and whatever it is advertising, you are almost guaranteed a visit.

Popular websites will allow you to pay to place an ad on there pages. This option is generally more expensive, but if you choose a high traffic related site you could end up with lots of successful increased traffic. Use a search engine to find good sites that relate to your topic.

Don't worry if you need increased web traffic. There are plenty of options at all price levels. The higher your budget the more access you can get, but with a little creativity good options exist to spread the word about your website at all price points. - 15275
