They do work, and have worked well for many successful business's. Just make sure that you learn to walk before you run, in other words, move ahead slowly at first.

2) Exchange or Trade Links with other sites

With exchanging links with other sites, both of you will benefit from the efforts both of you do to enhance your sites traffic. When one site features another sites link, they could provide one another with the traffic one site generates. The efforts are doubly beneficial because it would seem like both of you are working to generate more traffic. The more links traded with more sites the more traffic could be expected.

3) Use Viral Marketing

This is a great way to spread the word around about your product. Look out for a way to attach your name to something which is currently making the rounds, and that way you can ride on the back of something bigger than you, and more well known.

4) The fourth thing is to concentrate on getting good keywords.

Search engines are looking for the right content and they do so through keywords, so this is something you or a hired expert, must get right.

And start to let your name be known as someone who is an authority in your particular field. These posts are often read by hundreds, and sometimes thousands of people, and if you have something of use to say then this is an excellent way to get more traffic.
