Dealing with Wrinkles

By Dane Masters

As generations pass, it seems the desire for eternal beauty only grows stronger. Or maybe it's the desire for eternal youth. Is there really a difference? Now days, society claims the two go hand in hand. As if you can't have the beauty part without the youth part. Who ever officially announced this concept anyway? Has the current media warped our delicate minds? Regardless of its origins, youthful beauty is without a doubt all the rage in more contemporary times. Our society has deemed wrinkles taboo. This may be the reason so many individuals these days are struggling to remove wrinkles and keep them from rearing their ugly head. What wrinkle solutions sit on your bathroom counter?

Eventually we all begin to age and those unwanted wrinkles begin to appear. It is usually at this stage that most people start looking for a quick solution. But where do you start? There are so many companies promising to vanish wrinkles with magic creams or needles, or worse. The key is to understand that not every solution works for all individuals.

If you haven't received your recent dose of reality television, then you probably haven't viewed any of the shows dealing with plastic surgery. Yikes! These programs always make me cringe. They're filled with unsatisfied individuals who are looking to enlarge their breasts, have their thighs vacuumed, or possibly remove wrinkles from their weathered brow.

Botox is an alternative to plastic surgery. This solution involves the injection of a mild strain of botulism under the skin in several areas where wrinkles are prevalent, such as on the forehead or around the eyes. The solution paralyzes the nerves underneath t he skin which gives the skin a more smoothed appearance. Botox only lasts a few months before it wears off and has to be repeated.

Other ways to remove wrinkles are a tad less intimidating. Have you taken a browse through the latest anti-wrinkle creams and treatments? In all honesty, there are more than a few to go around. Jump online and you will be flooded with creams and serums that help remove wrinkles. If you don't already know, one of the most effective routes concerning wrinkles involves starting young. Begin taking care of yourself at an early age. This way you will prevent those fine lines from appearing immediately after you hit 30. Because let's face it, you don't need to remove wrinkles if you don't have them in the first place. - 15275
